What a brilliant car this is for £24,000 this car outclasses everything you put near it, in the dry and the wet there is no other car which can match it it is unstoppable, the sports seat are wonderful, hit the 2.0 turbo engine above 3,000rpm and it sings to you and you will leave everything behind. what a car sad to see it go.

i have never drove one of these cars, but I do have a subaru impreza and I would wipe the floor with you because mine has aftermarket parts nitrous oxide t38 twinturbos direct port nos ect so ill race you mate.

Impreza beat an Evolution 8? Haha, you're kidding. Imprezas are a poor mans Evo.

If you think that your evo8 is unstopable, then you need to get out more... I bet you that if you drive your car hard a few times, to try beat some good cars, it might go alright, but after a few more hard runs, its gonna break down.

Impreza drivers fear the evo8. if you cannot afford an evo make do with an impreza.

Haha... Imprezas are only good at straights... Evos are very suburb in cornerign abilities... For me... Evo looks more with attitude than Imprezas... Haven't you heard of BBC's Top Gear? Lancer Evo beat the Lamborgini... And its cheaper than a Porsche which can go to 0-60 in 3.1seconds... Haha!

Good grief! Is that supposed to be a constructive comment. Why can't people like you who own these cars just enjoy them for what they are, why on earth is your first thought who can I wipe the floor with in my car. You shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel with an attitude like that.

Impreza's are a poor mans evo? What a stupid thing to say, evo's are way overpriced! Most models may be be more powerful than imprezas out of the box, but their not better cars, dull looking compared to scoobs. And impreza's are quiker than evo's of the same power, look at the WR1 compared to the FQ 300, the WR1 matches the 340 with 40 bhp less, and the uk WRX more than matches the 260 with 35 bhp less, and scoobs sound better quality, flat 4 rumble. Nothing wrong with evo's, but you're a fool to pay thousands more for them.

Subaru's and Evo's are in the same class, I like both of them, it just comes down to you, which one suits you. People who leave comments about "wipe your car..." need to grow up.

I agree, you can't be to sure untill you actualy come up against someone, I bet the porche driver I came across the other day did'nt think id be hugging his bumper well into tripple figres, like you say its what suits you, but I did'nt make do with my impreza I wanted one before I knew anything about prices. I like evo's too, but scoob has that sound. But il probably try an evo one day!

Having owned both... not much in it. The EVO's power delivery is more rapid and smoother than the Scooby, and the EVO feels more comfortable around the bends.

For those with nitrous... enjoy ya laughing gas!!
