The seats are a bit worn.
The rear window has a slight leak.
The carpet needs replacing as a result of the leak.
Other than that everything is in excellent condition.
I replaced the original engine for a bigger more peppy one.
The car is still excellent on gas.
It handles like a new car.
People stop and stare when they hear me coming because the engine is a little louder (by choice of course). The rims I recently put on the car gives it that sparkle it needed to make it stand out just a little more. I get offers almost everyday to buy my car.
8000 miles in 18 years + "offers almost everyday to buy my car"?
This is hard to believe, old timer, unless those "offers" keep coming from the same person or persons...
The malibu is a great strong car I have one that has been rebuilt for drag racing. It still has the 350 in it, but it has had a bigger cam put in it and bored 30 over, heads ported.020, aluminum edelbrock intake, edelbrock 600 thunder series carburator, and also added headers. this car is unreal it is pushing around 390hp to 420hp.
