Minor issues which are common to this car:
sunroof noisy over bumps
steering wheel shake at 60mph (intermittent)
slight shudder at idle.
All minor issues in the face of a superb 4 door vehicle - fast, superbly smooth, very comfortable with all the high end amenities, great brakes, superbly tuned suspension - I love this car!! Highly reccommend it as a daily driver.
Could anyone share with me their experience with the 1999 GS 400 in wet rain and snow/winter/ice conditions as a reliable vehicle???
The Lexus GS 400 is a dream to look at, and to drive.
As for winter driving, it drives like any other sedan. The handling of a car in snow or rain depends on the type of tires you have on your car, as opposed to the car itself. Get a good set of winter tires and you should be fine.
