I've got a howling noise that sounds like it's coming from one of the tires; I put the spare on in place of each tire and took it for a test drive each time... no change to howling noise.
Could it be a wheel bearing?
How do you determine which one it might be?
Changed out hazzard switch by warranty.
Replaced two tires do to a side wall hole.
Replaced battery and cable to starter etc... do to broken +post and leaking acid.
Have enjoyed driving it... I like the auto 4 wheel in winter.
The newer Blazers use a sealed unit front wheel bearing assembly. Use a ball bearing type roller bearing that is supposed to be lower in friction than the old needle type bearings, but sure seems to be lacking in durability, and that unit is expensive. I suppose the factory saved a few cents with the one unit assembly during manufacturing, but that hits us consumers hard when they fail - just out of warranty. Sounds like that is what your problem is.
