"Powerful, Strong Running, Fun to Drive Car, Requires Routine Maintenance Schedule"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Alternator - normal.

Replaced Clutch - normal at 92,000mi.

Replaced Timing Belt - Normal at 92,000.

Water Pump.

The place on the block where the distributor used to be had an oil leak - required removal of the intake manifold to fix.

General comments?

Very enjoyable car. 5 speed is awesome and large bucket seats are comfortable.

Handles and accelerates great. Beats pretty much any car its age and a lot of new ones too although it is a pretty big and heavy car (although I guess that does help with the collision safety issue). Car has four wheel disc brakes and stock 16inch rims, too.

Engine compartment is a little bit tight and an alternator replacement is a real pain with the alternator being mounted behind the front axle.

Not a whole lot of aftermarket parts, but I'm beginning to see more. The engine really has a lot of potential.

Car needs to be maintained regularly if you want it to last, but it will last if its maintained properly.

Exterior style of the car is nice with he spoiler and ground effects and the interior is very comfortable, although hitting the high defrost is a little bit of a reach to get to the button.

Engine has somewhat of a loud idle. My clutch throw out bearing rattles a little bit and there is a consistent engine noise (I hear everyone complain about it) in the front (it can only be heard from outside the car usually though)

I love this car and am experiencing the exact same problems as in the oil leak alternator etc. The only down side to this car are the door handles I've gone through two in four years.

My dad owned a Z34, and I always wanted one. Once the timing belt let go he got rid of it. I like these cars and I now want one for myself. If you live in the new york long island, or NYC area, and you have a Z34 you would like to sell that is in good condition, then please call me or leave me a voice message. Thank you. -Tyler.

Thank you guys for the comments, they really helped. See, I am out looking for a car and this one popped up a few days ago. Some people said it was a good car, but I was still sceptical. Thanks again.
