There is so very little wrong with this SUV that listing anything is just nit picking. BUT:
Needed to replace all shocks and stabilizer bars twice.
Needs realignment quite often due to my love of the off road.
Had to replace radiator.
Seats are not very comfortable, but I added cushioned seat covers.
Turning radius could be better for a truck this size.
Gas mileage varies from 15 - 19 mpg.
I have had this SUV for eight years now and it looks as good as the day I picked it up. Even the paint job looks good. I change the oil every 3000 miles and do routine maintenance every 20,000. This vehicle still looks good on the highway. How many 1995 autos can say that?
I had a 93 Toyota 4Runner that had a serious problem in crosswinds. In my opinion, it sat too high for it's light weight. The Pathfinder does not have that problem.
I totally agree, I have a 1995 Pathfinder and having done all the recommended services- it is now at 108,000 miles running strong. I was just curious what else I needed to do as far as maintenance, but I guess it's okay for another 20,000. Great long-lasting, trouble free truck - I will be sad when I have to replace it. They are not built like that anymore.
