What a piece of junk. I don't even know what to start with. The car drove fine for couple
of weeks, then the nightmare start.
Airbag sensor fault.
Engine coolant sensor.
Idle speed sensor.
Air flow sensor.
Idle speed sensor.
Then, the big surprise, the transmission start acting funny.
So I sold the car in action, i did not care how much I lose, i just got tired.
I can tell you that I had before a 91 Toyota Tercel. I sold it at 170000 miles.
Other that changing oil, brakes, tires and the axel's one time, i did not spend 1 cent in maintenance.
Ford, what I big disappoiment. Maybe you will go bankrupt like Oldsmobile, so the nightmare will be over.
Just to let you know Oldsmobile did not go bankrupt, in fact they sold at least 200,000 vehicles right up until they where shut down. GM shut them down in the hopes that when the ceased to exist that Oldsmobile owners would lean towards Buick or Cadillac. - just a little note from a GM employee.
Thanks for the warning, pal!
I was seriously considering purchasing a 1994 Ford Contour at a local dealer. Real nice car.
But after reading your review, I'll pass.
I was just about to buy 1996 ford contour. i'll pass.
