The brake lines need replacement.
The car stalled twice in the first week. But I think that was due to old gas. The car had been sitting covered for 8 months prior to my ownership.
That's it!
2DR beauty. White exterior with plush maroon interior.
I came into an absolutely amazing deal with this Buick. Estate sale by brother in law. Only $CAN 2100.
Mint condition with fairly low kilometres for a 16 year old car.
The previous owner (2nd) ran the auto shop for a Canadian Tire and it was his baby.
There is nothing wrong with it at all.
Came with: New tire, new brakes, new muffler. Basically, the average things that can go wrong on a $2,000 car are all fixed.
Just took it in for an oil change and the shop could not believe how clean the undercarriage and motor was.
Perfect and so different than the new bubble cars that every company is making these days. I mean, even Volvo abandoned the crisp square lines.
I have the same car, with same exterior and interior color and let me tell ya... even though it has the Tech4 2.5l engine... its still got some power. The car rides nice, looks sweet, and requires very little maintenance. One word of advice however: Keep the body in good shape! Once it starts rusting out, it spreads like wildfire.
I believe in 1989 this car would have had the 3.3 liter v-6, not the 3.1 litre. The 3.3 or 3300 was a 90 degree v6 based on the 3.8, one of GMs best engines in the late 80's and early 90s. Be happy you had the 3.3, the 3.1 wasn't nearly as reliable, due to various unforutunate modernizations.
