Well when I first got to the dealership they were trying to sell me the brand new Hyundai Accent GS because that was the one I had wanted, but I made a quick decision on buying a used car because it was a lot cheaper, it was my first car and I needed a car no matter what.
So as soon as the dealer pulled it out of the parking lot it stalled - it was out of gas because the dealer was too busy to put any in before I got in it and test drove it...
Well the clutch was burned out and it ran out of gas. They let me drive it with gas in it after a few hours and it drove kind of nicely but I was still skeptical. I found a couple of dents in it and when I pointed them out to the dealer he got me a new hood and they painted it for me but I was still annoyed that I almost got killed... I finally just told my significant other to go with me to check it out cause they were a mechanic when they were in high school and he checked it out for me... and it wasn't bad except the clutch was a little bent out of shape. I am still mad about it though
I'm missing something, what do dents and hoods have anything with you "almost getting killed"?
To my knowledge no Accent has a turbo...!!!
Cool.
Ha this review is what I call a joke, I love my '97 accent GT and it is 10 yrs old and 200,000 kilometers (125000 miles)! It's a great car, but there is defiantly rust and the shifters throw is huge considering the car, but oh well, I've gotten my money out of it so I am happy, too bad they don't make them like they used to : (
I want to know how he discovered the clutch was a little bent, did he take the transmission out and look?? Was this review written by a 10 year old?
