Nothing but wear items.
Replaced tires at 62K miles.
Rear brake pads at 80K.
Too bad the big three manufacturers can't make cars this good!
Great car. Used to own 2 FORD lemons! Absolutely no problems with the car.
Gets 26-28 freeway mpg going 70-75 mph. Great for a large car. Hope to keep it to 300K miles or more.
Will replace it with another Toyota. Wanted to buy American (GM, Ford, Chrysler - now DC) but coworkers get 200K+ on their Toyotas without replacing engine or tranny. Several people bought Toyotas based on my pleasant experience with my car.
Bought a 1998 Avalon with 96000 miles and am extremely pleased with the comfort and power of the automobile. Over all, I am very pleased with the reliability of the car. The only complaint I have is it does not ride as smooth on the road as my Camry does. I considered new struts, but my mechanic said at those miles they should still be good. Well I am going to try a new set of tires and hope this improves the overall ride of the car.
