"Loved it wile it lasted"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Engine blew at about 50.00 miles.

Antifreeze pipe blew at 87.00miles.

Radio frequency bad.

Air filters.

General comments?

Good car.

Not too bad.

I sold it for a 2002 mercury sable and this car is the best.

How did you own a BMW Mini BEFORE you bought this car in 1994?

Was it one of those three-wheeled jobs?

I am confused... you say the engine blew at 5000 miles and the antifreeze pipe blew at 7500 miles. How can that be when the engine blew at 5000 miles, meaning the engine had to go first?

You said the most recent distance in your Tracer was 175,000 miles. Is that when the engine actually blew?

Also, did you get any warning the engine was going to blow?

For example, excess oil burning or strange noises coming from the engine?

And did you change the oil every 3,000 miles?

I am curious because I purchased a 1993 Mercury Tracer a month ago. A few days later I discovered the heater core was leaking, but so far that is the only problem I had with it.

I had the oil changed 3 weeks ago and have put 900 miles on it and the oil level is still full.

I like the car and hope I have luck with it.
