Caps that cover the bolts on the 2nd row of seating came off. This was easily fixed by the dealer for free.
This is probably the best truck I've owned. It tows really well - we have a 6,000 lb trailer - I hardly know it is back there most of the time.
The cabin is very quite for such a big vehicle.
The ride is pretty comfortable for such a big vehicle.
My grandchildren love it and beg to ride in it because it is so roomy and the seats are comfortable.
Update on my 2004 Expedition.
I got up yesterday morning after my brother who is a mechanic told me to take the truck for another diagnostic at a reputable place. The results were in :-
1. The codes were erased from the trucks computer (by Ford's mechanic of course). This made sense because they had my truck all morning until 5pm that evening trying to find out what was wrong with it before they came up with their version of what's wrong- the engine coils.
Vehicles made after 1995 have a OBD- on board diagnostic equipment. On-Board Diagnostics is the second generation of on-board self-diagnostic equipment on vehicles. This system is designed to provide the driver with an early warning of potentially high emissions, and stores important information about detected malfunctions so that a repair technician can accurately find and fix the problem. A light on the dash, called a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL), will come on if an emissions related problem is detected.
