Not true, chevy is the best; I own a 99 with 115k on it, and it runs like a champ!!!
I dunno, man. Even a tank will be a piece of garbage if someone drives it into the ground. I know a guy who has had a Ford, Dodge, and Chevy and loves his Chevy the best. He often pulls horses in trailers up mountains and goes through trucks like I do shoes. But he said that a Silverado with a transmission radiator is the best so far.
For domestic trucks, I like Chevy. But then, how domestic can a vehicle made in Mexico be? Quite frankly, I think that the full size Toyotas are just as good, and they are made right here in the US... So what is truly American? Making a rich man richer that fired American workers and sent their jobs south of the border? Or driving a truck built right here in America? The only thing American about Chevy is its past.
Mexican market gets Mexican trucks. American market gets trucks from Detroit or Canada.

Regardless of where it is built, the company base is where the profit goes. Profit from domestic-based manufacturers goes to the U.S., profit from foreign-based manufacturers goes to foreign countries.
