Nothing.
We have 2WD GHIA 7seats. My wife likes it. I like it. My kid likes it. My dog likes it as well.
Quality inside is acceptably good. This is the best from Ford (Australia). Interior design just excellent.
The cabin is brilliant! There is space for everybody. Safety: 6 airbags, passes car rolling test.
Drives much better than Holden. Noise is very low. Engine is silent. This car has a wonderful suspension. The car corners sharply with no rolling effect. Fuel 8.5l/100k on the freeway at 100km/h and 11-13l in the city.
Haven't tested in the bush yet.
No mechanical problems at 5000km so far.
Just don't use it for hard core 4x4'ing especially with a 2WD model territory.
I wouldn't even a AWD model for hard core 4 wheeling.
You are getting the best fuel economy figures I have seen. My TX RWD best is 11.4l/100km on a 500km trip. Around our town (in the country) we get between 13.4 to 14.7l/100km, and that is driving sedately.
Ford territory ghia 05' has had transmission slipping between second and third gear up changing. This problem began at around 5000kms and has nearly done 10000kms. We have taken it back to ford twice and cancelled the third time as they told us they are u nable to fix the problem because they don't know whats causing it. This is really getting frustrating, has anyone else experienced this as we have been told there are others who it has happened to and what has been done about your territory? We just reall y want it fixed as it has been three months now!›
"Drives much better than Holden" Any Holden in Particular? We are considering a Territory and have narrowed our selection to the Territory or Adventra. For the same price I can get a standard TX or an Adventra CX6 with Leather, 6 stack CD and Alloys as standard.
Don't buy an adventra, if it has to be a holden wagon make it a berlina - not the vulgar plasticcy adventra which, like its owner, is on steriods and therefore not very well endowed. IMO the best you can have is the old school wagons, so much space and practicality, and they're not going to get keyed. Pity that they only come in the fleet pack models now - I'd love to see the return of the XR wagon. If it has to be a 4wd get a territory - it didn't win all those awards for nothing and holds its value well
