Starter motor.
New discs and pads.
Differential. My fault, selected wrong gear on the auto box.
Great car, well constructed.
Head roof could be slightly higher.
Drives and handles very well.
No under or over steer.
Fuel consumption is the only downside to this car.
I'm puzzled by how selecting the wrong gear could damage the differential.
Please explain further.
Did you put the car into drive from rest with the engine revving very fast?.
That would put big shock loads into the transmission, but other than that, I don't see how you could have done it.
I'm considering buying this model car, but it has 200,000 miles on it.
I saw that yours had 210,000 in 05 and I was wondering if you could tell me how it's held up, if you still have it.
Or, how it did, if you don't.
Thank you very much.
