The oil pump went out at 260000.
Changed the starter one time.
Fuel pump went out at about 200000.
This is by far one of the best cars ever built! I drove this car everywhere with no serious problems until the oil pump finally gave out at over 260000! I drove the car for 2 days with no oil pressure, and the guy that bought it from me drove it to his house about 30 miles away and the car made it. This engine didn't understand the word die.
I would recomend all these people that run down american made cars (to make themselves fell good about buying cars from our former enemies) to buy an olds cutlass. I have family members, and friends that own Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda and they have all have lots of trouble with those cars!
Smoothest riding car I've ever had.
260000+ original miles on engine and transmission (no overhauls).
I couldn't agree more. It's nice to know there are still people out there that haven't been brain washed by Toyota and still have pride for the U.A.W. I've owned American and Japanese cars, and I've worked and spent more money on my Japanese car!!!
