Before I even got the car home the alternator went out. Had that replaced along with the serpentine belt.
5 months later I had to replace the front driver side wheel bearings because they went out.
4 months after that I had to replace the passenger front wheel bearing because they went out. I was also told at the time I needed a pitman arm, rear rotors and new ball joints.
One month after that it was time to get a new fuel pump because that was going. at this time I was told I had a problem with some little flap that controls the transmission fluid.
Now, only 11 months into owning the car, I am now having transmission problems. After getting off of the highway my transmission jerks quite strangely from 1st to 2nd gear. It only does this when I get off the highway.
I also have noticed the problem of rust forming along the bottoms of the doors.
My seat handle on the driver seat broke off one day unexpectedly.
I never trusted Chevy in the first place. I needed a car at the time and this was the only thing I could get so I wanted to give Chevy the benefit of the doubt and thought that maybe they had gotten their act together.
I will never buy another Chevy.
I just bought a chevy blazer 1998 its making funny noises in the front could that possibly be ball joints and rotors it drives rough any comments?
As far as the ball joints go it's possible. I had mine checked out about a week ago and the lower ball joints are going out along with the intake gaskets...I've already replaced the waterpump. Becomming a lot to maintain...
