I just purchased this car like 3 weeks ago, I've had to buy license plate lights because they were blown when I got it, I had to buy a bulb for the left side marker thing these two bulbs were like ($10) together.
I bought some new hubcaps because the old ones were supposed to have Volkswagen signs, but 3 of them fell off, ($17)
I need a new ashtray (i don't smoke, but it's broken so I'm going to replace it)
The rear cup holder's broken.
I need to buy seat covers because the seats are tan.
Needs new top because last owner didn't read that the top said not to put it down when it's wet!!!
Needs a lock puller thing.
The little seat tilt button thing is missing.
Other than these (CAUSED BY LAST OWNER)
the car has been great.
I personally like this Cabrio, all though the seats get uncomfortable.
I've read everyone else's reviews on the 99 Cabrio and they say it is a piece of junk, but mine has been fine to me in the 3 weeks that I've driven it.
It gets great gas mileage.
Hopefully I will have this car as long as I have had my 95 Nissan Pickup that I only paid 2grand for, but have had for 6-7 years, and still haven't put one little dime into it.
So the seats aren't comfortable in your "Voltswagen", perhaps you should turn off the current before you sit down.
Yes, otherwise you could be in for a "shocking" development!
