This car is unbelievable,! I have owned much newer vehicles and they cannot compare to this old Buick. I travel on the highway (in cruise control) and it just like floating on the clouds. She handles great (as long as the turns are not too sharp), she purrs like a kitten, and everything works as though a brand new car! With
only 36k I know this kitten will be in my hands for a good long time. (I cannot believe the luck only $2000.00) for a brand new BUICK!!!
I have had my 88 Buick Century for going on 5 years and could not ask for a better car. Grant it for the age, there are some things that are going wrong with it, but I feel safe in it and agree with you... it drives very nicely!
It does bounce, but at least it doesn't jerk you when you hit a bump like my 97 car does!
I paid $800 for mine and have only put new tires, an alternator, mass air flow sensor, fuel pump and relay, air filter, biggest money was the module and ignition coil, and just a few other little minor things. It has definately been a great car... and only my second car I've owned. Wouldn't trade it for anything!!
