When I first got this truck it needed some tlc, I did a tune up. I replaced the timing belt, spark plugs,, flush off tranny and replace a new gasket, replace a new over head gasket, put on a new pcv and new breather, and some more stuff that keep its power, I took it to new york back and forth with a trailer that weighs 2500lbs. in less than 4 mos I have put a lil over 25k miles. and now it is still running strong, every time I do an oil change a put a slick 50 (worth $25) to seals the engine. this stuff really works.
This car is seriously quick and handles like it's on rails.
This bad boy is gonna give me a lot of miles. its the good stuff.
You must have confused your truck with a different vehicle as GM pickups have never used a timing belt, but rather a timing chain.
