Nothing has gone wrong with the car. I have done maintenance though. Optispark service, wires, fluids, brakes, etc.
Performance! LT1 ruggedized Corvette Motor, added Callaway "Honker" System with K&N filter, positraction 3.23 rearend (vs stock 3.08) = 140+ mph, 17-22 mpg on unleaded regular, dual air bags.
It may be a little crude compared to some other cars, but nothing has the punch of the LT1. Car sticks to the road, too!
I left the previous comment. I now have over 160,000 miles & still purrs like a kitten. Just bought another one. Great car!
