"This jeep is strong and reliable"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The power steering pump was leaking like crazy.

I replaced 3 injectors because they were leaking badly.

Last week it turned off on me and did not start until it cooled down.

Hard to start and when started the jeep will a little and smoke comes out of the tailpipe.

I think that to much gas is injected into the cylinders.

We replaced the sparkplugs and the fuel regulator cleaned the distrubitor and still hard to turn on.

General comments?

My jeep is very reliable. It had over 340,000 miles on it until we rebuild the engine.

The engine and transmission are excellent. Has lots of torque and horsepower.

The 4WD system works good.Climbs over obstacles with no problem.

The ride is not comfortable shakes a lot.

The 4.0 liter engine is ususally good for 200,000-300,000 miles before you need to do anything major to it.

It's a great engine.

Jeep should've kept making the Cherokee and should never stop making the 4.0 liter engine.

I have the 4.0 in my current Wrangler, and also in my two previous Wranglers, and it is as good an engine as there is.
