I bought the car from a dealer at 63000 miles everything was fine. last month at 75000 miles my transmission went out. The problem started by the o/d light flashing on and off. It would not turn off and the next day it started slipping bad. It cost me about 2,000 thousand dollars to get it fixed. I was very upset because it only had 75000 miles on it. This was my first car I bought when I was 17 and my biggest mistake was buying this car and I will never purchase another Masda in my life.
Around 70,000 miles my head lights had problems. They would not turn on. Apparently it was a known problem with this car and I am upset there wasn't a recall on my car and all the problems I got from my 1994 Masda 626.
I have worked in the Trade and you have what is known as a 75,000 Mile Transmission. Did you replace the Transmission? Who did you get it done by?.
My Girlfriend had the misfortune to own one of these and when the Transmission went out we simply had it towed directly to the Wreckers Yard. These cars are absolute trouble and I already have a daytime Career. I have since installed my Girlfriend into a 2002 Escalade. I often laugh when I see one of those old Sheds coming up into My Rear View Mirror. Thankfully I drive a Lexus.
