All those things break because a certain someone doesn't handle it with care, it doesn't just break if you just let it sit there, you have to either be wearing on it or something, and it is a older car so you can expect it, my relative has a 94 ranger and it has 220k on it and runs great still, has air, and everything works, and is not cheap... you are responsible for the things in the interior breaking except for the gauge, and the light is on because it does have 150k on it, it might just be the 02 sensor or the gas cap, nothing major... read other reviews and see what real problems are...
Well the check engine light can easily be fixed by cranking the truck pulling the battery cable loose from the battery and the computer will reset itself. My truck has over 220K too with the original motor and tranny. Its not perfect, but for the price and reliability you can't beat it.
