This is my first car and is really great looking. I am surprised at all the compliments i get for a car that cost me $4400! I was wondering if anyone here who has an eclipse has put an aftermarket exhaust on. If so, what kind do you recommend, and it is something almost anyone can install, or is a mechanic required?
You should install a borla exhaust I have one on my eclipse and it sounds awesome. and it really is not that hard to install you can install it with simple hand tools and some jack stands.

I am looking into buying a 97 gst spyder. I was looking through exhaust systems and I was happy to see this recommendation, since it was the one that I was considering once I got the car. Borla definately.
