The tie rod ends were bent when I first purchased the vehicle, not sure if this was done bu regular wear and tear or if I hit a large pot hole. Dealer replaced it under warranty, but ruined my tires by wearing them unevenly which the dealership didn't replace. Just recently (around 40k miles) I have a belt squelling That I cannot locate, and the AC fan stopped working. (Havnt had time to fix yet). The molding around the fenders is also coming off.
I have only put 45k on this truck in 5 years. It has pleanty of power. The rear seats are very uncomfortable. The truck runs quiter than most vehicles and I like it for the most part.
The noise is often the alternator belt on the passanger side of the front engine compartment. There are 3 belts on the truck, (power steering, alternator & water pump, and air conditioning) so checking the tension and re-adjusting as necessary with a basic socket wrench is simple to do.
