1996 Chevrolet K3500 Crew Cab from North America - Comments

"This is one kick-ass truck!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Costs $10 to get to corner store...lol.

To be expected from that size engine.

Engine has very slight knock. This is probably a result of misusing the power it offers. Not meant to be driven like the race car I think it is.

Seat belts are badly worn. Whoever designed the retraction unit should be fired.

Small problem with the positraction due to lack of maintenance.

General comments?

This truck is too fast and smooth.

By the time that you notice you're doing 100 km/hr in a 60 zone (even though it feels like 40 km/hr) the law is on your tail.

The wheel base makes speed bumps disappear.

The knocking you hear may be the infamous "Piston slap" problem. Its problematic on the 4.3, and the V8's. Its annoying, yes, but goes away when the engine is warm, and really doesn't hurt it at all. I would not really worry too much about it unless its excessivly loud, or gets worse.
