What hasn't gone wrong with the 2000 gmc jimmy. it has 160,000kms. 100,000 miles for those americans that cannot figure out metric. the best quote from prior owners is "a mechanics dream"...tranmission is gone, ac gone, water pump, electrical problems, etc etc etc. if you buy a gmc you have been warned!!!

I love my Jimmy!! It runs great. I've never had any problems with it. It's my dream vechicle.
I recently purchased a 2000 GMC Jimmy and up until now, I've loved it. I baby this thing and it has never shown me any sign of trouble. Until yesterday. I started it, it ran for about 3 seconds, then it shut off. It has no power to anything. No lights, accessories, door locks, windows, won't start... It won't do anything at all. It just quit. BIG BIG problem.
I purchased a 2000 Jimmy 4X4 in December 1999. I live in the mountains of California and the 4X4 was a dream to drive in bad winter snow storms. I especially liked the ABS and "Auto" 4X4 feature. It now has 86,000 miles and I have had no problems except to replace a water pump. So far so good. My next vehicle will be the new GMC crossover.
I have a 2000 gmc jimmy with the envoy package it has 133000 miles on it and I have had no problems with it a good runnin suv.
