2005 Proton Gen-2 from Malaysia - Comments

1. Doors are too rough and seem to be very heavy.

2. Seats not at all comfortable... Tiara has better seats.

3. Back seat Passenger get Neck pain after going through a trafic Jam as they have to bend thier neck all the time.

4. No rear view at all... Hardly can see and judge the distance of the car behind u.

5. Fog Lights seem not to be fitted properly.

6. Noise coming from Dash.

7. Windows starting almost above chest height for an average height person like 5 feet 10 inches.

Rest I'll put once I see more problems :)

1. Replacement for Wira... but to me wira is more comfortable than Gen 2.

2. Some people say they are reconditioned cars... even one case was proven after a minor accident only.

SO DO WE TRUST PROTON???

Excellent car, with magnificent interior. I bought it two years back and still it is working perfectly. No major problem has been suffered so far.

My dad got me the 1.3 gen 2 and personally, it's fine except for the suspension, gave lots of click and clock sounds.

First accident to the butt and hardly any damage. the kelisa tat banged me was smashed! after tat though, the turning got prob abit, sounds again.

Its just bad, bought gen-2 in 2005

door window problem continues~~~~

My my gen 2.got many problem. my rear lamp not properly fit make the water sip into the lamp. door is not properly seal make the door have a lot of sound. the battery is always change maybe the engine got problem. the black oil tank at under the car always easily broken when hit something. thank to proton that make very very good car!!!
