Dealer has been no help.
My friend had one similar to yours, after the last breakdown he let the garage keep it as not worth mending. This was an R registered car with 60,000 miles that cost him £14,000 new!
Incredible. I'll stick to Skoda thanks.
My sister and brother-in-law bought a Neon new in 96 and also had nothing, but problems. The final straw was when the entire driver's door inside panel simply fell off for no reason. They ended up selling the car at a severe loss.
The irony of this car is it continues to get great press in the auto magazines, especially the last iteration. So people get suckered into thinking they are buying a great car and end up with junk.
The Neon is being replaced by a PT Cruiser-type car called Caliber. Let's hope that Chrysler put some thought into quality this time around.
