Well, with this many miles, more things than can fit here have happened. However, I see them as routine maintenance things, WITH ONE EXCEPTION. I have replaced the water pump on this truck 9 times. No one ever quite understood what was going on, but it hasn't been a problem for over 100,000 now. Tough to heat up in the winter, but every diesel I've had has been that way.
I added rear air bags to the truck new and have hauled more trailers than anyone should legally be allowed. I have played with various performance items and currently this bad boy gets down the road with a 34' gooseneck (12,000#) chewing up all those cute gasser duallies and pulling down 15mpg. I love this truck! Hopefully with a little TLC and luck this truck will make the million mile mark at which time I might consider retiring it. NAH!
Be careful with your tranny. Change fluids regularly and all of that because dodge's tranny's are notoriously weak and prone to destroying themselves. Good pick on the diesel.
