2005 Proton Waja from Egypt - Comments

The Waja 2006 is pretty nice so far,seats position's sporty,which I liked most,simple dashboards, but I disliked the red 'D'sign which looks uncomfortable, it's a nice ride,very stable, the smooth mitsubishi engine is good also.,,in the end,it's a good buy,maybe they've fixed faults of previous models.

I'm from egypt and thinking of buying waja or clio. as you have both please tell me which is better and why? and which is more economical in petrol and fixing.

Well man I had a clio & I recently got a proton waja,The WAJA is much better in so many aspects :

1) LOOKS SO NICE,sporty rims,tyres,aggressive attractive design

2) performance-wise its far more better that the clio,very stable & solid on road at high speeds (Handling system designed by lotus!)

3) Spare parts cheaper than RENAULT,cause simply its made in malaysia & RENAULT's parts are french made!!,,

4) The only disadvantage of this car (WAJA) here in egypt is the reselling. Otherwise it's a perfect ride,go on.

I'm trying to compare Proton GEN2 with KIA Cerato, you have WAJA, and I guess WAJA is much closed to GEN2.

So What do you think?

Both are same price almost, and Both are 1600 CC.

No comparison between Proton Waja, Jen 2 and the bad and stupide Korean cars Proton cars are Lotus desigen and made in malysia which is the closest to Japan quality I had hyundai car before and I replaced it by Waja and it is clear that it is so much beter and it a rel car.

I've proton waja car I think that it's very interesting also I think that it's more better than mercedes cars.

I recently bought my second Waja, the first one in 2004 and second before the end of 2006, the car is underestimated in a market dominated by the least standards of japanese and Korean cars and the poorly reliable yet expensive European cars, pick the manual waja and feel the road like an alpha romeo yet roomier and very quite on motorway

brilliant car if you are a real driver.
