I bought my 1999 Intrigue in August 2005. I love the car, I was originally looking at a 2001 Intrepid, but decided on my Intrigue instead, the only problem I have with my car is that when it rains really really hard, the passenger side of my car gets flooded, my husband has looked under the hood to see if he can tell where the rain is getting in, but he cannot find the source. It only does it on the passenger side and I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem and been able to figure out why. Other than that the car is great I love it, it is economical yet sporty.

I have had a few problems with my intrigue, email me and let me know maybe we can compare what problems we have had. I have had problems with the windows and now there is this rattling noise that comes out of the heater vents when I turn the wheel and I bought the intrigue from someone that I know and I know they took care of it. I love my car, but there's just some weird things going on with it, and some of the other reviews are kind of the same as mine, so it's not my imagination! LOL! My email address is bretta_05@yahoo.com. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.
My Intrigue also developed a water leak on the passenger side only. Like the posting, the problem only occurs during a very hard rain and didn't develop until recently.
The 1999 Intrigue has been a terrific car for me. I now have over 130,000 miles and have had very little trouble. However, just recently it has developed an issue with starting. I think it's related to water in the gas due to the unusual weather we have had here in the Northeast. It always starts, but it can take longer some times... meaning it cranks over more times before starting.
Hi I to have an 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue and I had the leaking problem, however I have my windsheild replaced and it was in fact a cheap quality windsheild so when I went to another shop they told me that the one that they replaced needs to be correct because the generic ones arn't curved allowing space between the windshield and plastic piece that holds it on. Also the passenger air filter gasket might have fallen off so you might want to get that checked.
The starting issue on your Intrigue is the crank shaft postion sensor. It costs about 180 dollars with labor to replace. Its is a very common problem with 99 and 2000 Intrigues.
I own a 99 Oldsmobile, and I too have that cookoo leaking problem only in a hard rain, I knew the passenger side floor would be puddled with rain, it wasn't always like that it started after I had the heater core and blower motor replaced, what's that about?
I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue 3.5. I live in el Paso, Tx, and most of the time I cannot find some parts for my car. I would appreciate it if somebody could tell me where I could find these parts for it easily.
