What things have gone wrong with the car?

Steering shakes.

Pin came loose in gearbox.

General comments?

My Corsa lite 2002 is giving me endless problems cutting out while driving. I had in in for a service with Delta a couple of months ago just after I bought this car, and still it has not been rectified. Any advice?

2005 Opel Corsa Lite just started cutting out a few days ago. A mechanic said that he has looked at a few and found the problem to be an airlock in the fuel supply line. I have tried to fix it on my own but to haven't had any success thus far.

Hi all, I am TOTALLY DISGUSTED with the Opel Corsa 2006 - 1400I model, that was purchased "new", which at this stage I seriously doubt...

My car has 30 000km, and I drive 30km a day with it. The first 2000km was amazing, as my petrol consumption was excellent... But after 2000km my fuel consumption is higher than my old Opel Ascona 1983?

When I did a further investigation, a survey indicated on the entry level, 1300 & 1400 cars from different manufacturers that a Corsa is indeed the heaviest on the market! I have a 50 page Flip file of all my grievances with this car...

At 2050km the brake cylinders and drums had to be replaced?

Then my fan belt shredded? Apparently the "pulley" was a part from another Opel part.

The fan belt snapped; the actual fan belt was incorrect.

The back window exploded (2 days after its major service of 15000km), but the dealer never used their head in repairing the car while in for its service? According to a newspaper article, 15 Corsas a day had the same defect? With result that I had body damage on the roof, bonnet and back of the car, whereby the dealer's regional manager refused to repair, it began rusting on the area, as it scraped through the Proseal and paint.

The interior at the boot was totally damaged, speakers etc, with the severe storm rain in Cape Town when this took place.

When arriving at the dealer, they did not have stock of the windscreen!!! It's been in 5 times for the reverse gear as my car cannot go into reverse (a month ago they repaired the clutch cable) and now my car just cuts out when I apply breaks.

I have just phoned the dealer as my car has cut out 6 times in a space of ten minutes, this is now affecting my work as I was on my way to work when this (and numerous other occasions) happened to and from work.

My car went in on Friday, they told me Friday afternoon that they are busy with the gearbox. I had just called them 10 minutes ago (Tuesday at 14:22pm) and the consultant just told me now that they haven't even started on my car?!?!?!? There are two cars behind me first that must be repaired??? Hopefully they will attend to my car on Thursday... that's almost a week in their possession without fixing it!

From major inconvenience, to a disgusting car, to horrific staff... I am now in consultation with the Ombudsman and my lawyer. I will rather walk, than take the keys to an Opel... I need to cut my losses that will be about R28 000.000...

WHAT A MISTAKE... DO NOT BUY OPEL!!!
