"Reliable sedan with plenty of power"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I finally needed to get rid of my old car ('92 Summit) when the brakes were failing (The rotors became warped and were grinding when I braked) So I bought my 2002 Malibu from a dealer and not less than I week after I had it... It was doing the same exact thing as my old one!! The rotors were warped and the car would grind to stops. So I had it repaired once under warranty... but the problem persisted so the dealer replaced the rotors completely.

One thing I have noticed is that sometimes the car will either not start when I first turn the key or it will start kind of sickly sounding. This happens only occasionally and I think it has something to do with GM's Theft Deterrent System. I have seen the light go on in my dashboard twice since I have had it. This system shuts off gas to the car if the ignition has been tampered with. I think something may be going wrong with the system and my eventually stop the car altogether.

General comments?

Very reliable car

Comfortable

Powerful

Not very Stylish, but practical

Has many good features

Not the best winter performer.
