The only thing I have done is to put on a fuel regulator. rebuilt carb. replace rear brakes. new door trim trunk trim one air condition vent. new head liner. replace rear shocks. need freon refill. replace tires. replace muffler. a radiator. water pump. oil change every 3,000 miles. change all fluids.
This is a wonderful car. very reliable four door bench seats. runs like a new car. paint is in mint condition. light blue. everything works. some dents very small. cruise control works perfect. clean inside air condition works great. transmission runs great.
Where did you find a 24 year old car with less than 20K miles on it?
This car was my aunt. she bought it new and drove only to the store once a week and she was 70 yrs old. then the family made sure she drove less her eye sight was going bad. the car was in the garage for yrs. and I drove it take her shopping. she gave me the car and promise that I drive her to sewing on tuesday and I got the car for $ 1.00.
You got a really great car. These cars are the ultimate in automotive simplicity. The only downside is the low mileage on the car. Things deteriorate from lack of use. Just check everything over well, and this car should serve you for many years!
Thank you, I found a car with the same year and model at pick a part and I have removed everything from that car for back up parts. I just got a new dash cover from dashtop and it fits perfect. it's a joy to drive this car. now I'm restoring a 1901 olds horseless carriage. thanks for your information.
Hey I got this car for my first car and I think that it handles like a dream. my fuel tank is pretty small and I got the engine rebuilt. all in all I love this car.
