Headliner fell, they always do on these cars.
Carb is acting up.
Interior plastic is faded bad.
Fm went out only am now and there is nothing good on am.
I love big cars with big engines (only gm cars) I got the big car, but a 305 is not a big engine so this summer I will upgrade to a 432.
I'm going to turn 16 and get my license soon so then I can drive the car.
I love my car and its cool and I saved it from going to the big junkyard in heaven.
To do so I've had to put in new brake lines, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, muffler, brake pads shoes and spring kit, cleaned the car, took off headliner, resurfaced rotors, put new fluids in including oil brake and rear differential, some bodywork and now its drivable again.
The seats are real comfortable (fell asleep in it once a few days ago) i have a strong bond with the car I'm never going to sell and I plan to fix it up the rest of the way when I go to wyotech.
It has even helped push a kids car to our school auto shop when the car died on him.
These cars are so reliable unlike ford or dodge my car runs and drives good and hope to never have a problem.
Overall its one of the best cars in the world.
Oh, give him a break, he's just a kid. Didn't you think your first car was the greatest car ever when you got it?
This was and will stay the best car in the world, the Best GM ever Made, I Had one took it from my Dad with a 350 Engine wich I Used until 2005, beleve or not the Same engine and Transmission has never been repaired from 79 with 280,000 Mils and I can still race most of the 2005 Accords camry and Even Comaro.
This car stayes as the Kind, For those people who never drove it you wish you had the chane to feel the experiance.

Glad you had a good experience with yours. I had one that was given to me and it sucked gas like mad, had horrible handing, and was cheaply built. And it was clearly designed by idiots. My rear taillight went out and it took me something like 30 minutes to just get the cover off because of the endless screws attaching the assembling. The imports I've owned since had simple assemblies that could easily be serviced.
