For some reason the radio shorted out. Fixed by GM.
Rock from the trail got kicked up, cracked the windshield. Again GM fixed it.
Man I love this truck. It looks very good and is very functional. You can take the family to the beach, then go off roading past all the junked jeeps, and still be home for dinner. It's just great. I let all my buddies drive it and they just love it.
The interior is very comfortable and is high quality. I don't think there is a better SUV out there that looks this good, and can rip up the trails as well as my Hummer. I plan to put bigger tiers on it, and a flow master exhaust.
That's the type of comment I expect from someone who needs to boost his ego by buying a Hummer.
Your Hummer would be sinking up to it's axles in mud, while Jeep Wranglers go off the trail and around you.
Someday maybe you'll be lucky enough to own one.
They won't sink in the mud if you put some big tires on them, like I did. But I also like jeeps, they do almost as well as the Hummer, but they are much smaller and can maneuver around the junkyard very well.
If you own a Jeep, make your own review. Stay away from the Hummer comments unless you have some worth while information instead of bias opinions as to why Jeeps are better. Come on guy, get a life.

Hummer H2
Love it!
Not to diss the vehicle, I aim this at the driver. I agree with the first comment, you got one big ego by the sounds of it dude. Why does it need bigger tires anyways, they seem big enough already and it'll hurt your gas mileage, or is that what the flowmaster is for?
One more question (don't look it up either, off the top of your head plz) : What is the size and type of engine? Hmm not automatic, don't say manual... C'mon you know it, the GM guy must of mentioned at some time...
I am the one who posted the review.
First let me say one thing to the person who posted a comment on 26th Jan 2006. You ask what size my engine is. OK, that's a fair question, until you see what was also written "whats the flowmaster for", duh! A flowmaster is a high flow muffler, which increases 1) horsepower which I doubt you know what the H2 makes for horsepower. 2) Lets the engine run cooler, which preserves engine life. 3) Increases gas mileage! So before you ask someone their engine size again please brush up on your common knowledge.
Tim- Vermont.
Yes I use the 4 wheel drive too.
A free flow exhaust does lower engine temps by 4 or 5%, depending on engine size and how restrictive the stock exhaust is. This puts less stress on parts and thus, any half wit can realize that a free flow exhaust can enhance engine life. Just my 2 cents.
Gosh, my Blazer has an overheating problem. Should I put a Flowmaster muffler on it to fix it?
I did on my 2004 Silverado went with cat back duals.
You are on the Hummer site apparently the Blazer has issues and is due for a trade in... new Hummer!
I am the Jan 26th commenter:
I was referring to the flowmaster in the question as if it was there to balance the mpg loss of bigger tires. If you were to read my comment better you would have understood that. And I know what a flowmaster is...
You still don't know the engine size do you? :)
A flowmaster exhaust will prolong engine life, but it's a neglible gain, same with horsepower (what 10 horsies? maybe?), and mpg will barely reach an increase of 1 mpg. Not enough to cancel out bigger tires.
Now if you really wanted to do something:
Cold air intake with K&N filter
new aftermarket headers (ceramic if possible)
your uber super great flowmaster
supercharger
new ECU chip
aftermarket heads
make rear end a two speed for low end mudding and highway speeds, same with front prolly
...
Stickers lol?
Have a decent day.
Wow, following your advice I bet the owner can get his Hummer into single digit mpg, just what America needs!
Who cares what the gas mileage is and how fast you can make it go?... and if the hp increase offsets the tire size. I never heard this discussion. I rode in a new Hummer on the interstate to the Poconos. Regardless of the weather ice, snow or rain it does not prevent you from going where you want... when you want. You can carry people and plenty of weekend gear in lieu of taking multiple vehicles. Passengers are more into watching the dvd player(s) or relaxing. Not into racing one. I drive 2 different vehicles a day. I drive to work in my sports car come home for lunch and drive the second(utility) back to the end of the day. And I enjoy doing it.
Jan 26th commenter:
I didn't say anything about more horsepower to offset an increase in tire size.
I said
"A flowmaster exhaust will prolong engine life, but it's a neglible gain, same with horsepower (what 10 horsies? maybe?), and mpg will barely reach an increase of 1 mpg. Not enough to cancel out bigger tires."
And that has to do with MPG!
Sigh...
