There has been a few safety and emission recalls recently
manual transmission linkage needs tune-up after 75,000miles.
Very comfortable for a pickup truck, one of the best trucks comfort wise I've ever had!

97 and 98 were problematic years for the f150. That's why I waited until 2003 to buy mine.
I'd watch the engine if its burning oil. But if you wanted towing power, you should of sprung for the 5.4. Most reviews of this truck say the 4.6 is a bit underpowered. But then again its only a bit bigger than the V6 4.2...
