I had to replace the AC compressor twice in the same year.
Radio screen don't illuminate half of the times, even when the radio is on.
Other than that, no problems at all.
Very nice car for the price!!! fun to drive. Excellent response... it doesn't feel like those heavy SUV's. No problems with reliability until now. Nice view of the road all the time.
I'm a little disappointed with the MPG since I expected more efficiency as publicized.

I own a 2001 XLT V6 4WD. Bought it used about six months ago with 60,000 miles on it. Have not had any major problems with it yet, but many people seem to be unhappy with this vehicle. The airbag light came on yesterday while I was driving around, and it concerned me. I set up an appointment at a ford dealership and when I took it in,,, guess what... The light was not on. So I felt stupid. two days later the same thing happened. I just took it to Metro Ford to have someone look at it and when they come out to start my truck,,, WTF!!! I must be crazy or the aliens are playing pranks on me. anyone having this problem (the light,,, not the part where it doesn't come on for a ford technician.)???
