Highly reliable and is the best car I have ever owned and still have- My Dad bought in 1990 brandnew in showroom:) If you take good care of oil, tires along the way it takes good care of you in return. Saved me from headaches as reasonable for repair. Would love to buy it new all over again if they make 2006. I Love My Baby- or Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme! Went thru a lot of states traveling and has lots of miles on it along with good memories. I still cheer for each 100 miles added on especially here lately.
I noticed that you had your cutlass painted. The clear coat on mine is peeling off and I have thought about painting it. I would like to do it for no more than a few hundred bucks. How much did it cost you to paint it? Any advice?
Also I noticed that you have over 200 K miles. What are you doing to keep track of your mileage. The only way I have been able to do it is by tracking it on paper each time aI roll the trip odometer each 1000 miles. I've always wondered if there is a better way. I currently estimate about 256,000 miles on my cutlass.
