"Bad ass little car!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong. I haven't had to replace anything in the car. AWESOME CAR!

General comments?

I have done some custom work to the car to include adding turbo chargers, the engine holds up great to the additional strain of performance parts. I now drag race the car, and it turns an 11 second quarter. Not bad for a 1.3 liter engine.

The car is a great little car to customize, even though it is hard to find custom parts, but it is worth the time and effort.

You should add to the article where you got the turbo from because I am about to turbo my 95 geo metro.

Yes, you should say where you got the turbo and add some information about that. I have looked high and low for information about turbocharging my 94 Metro and have been unlucky finding information.

Any input would be greatly appreciated as would a picture from under the hood of the turbo set up. Hey a turbo Geo that is the limit!!

Where can one get parts and how are they modified to fit/work on the Metro. Is it streetable. what did it do to the milage?

Thank you for the time.

Hey I have a 93 Metro and I'm trying to find performance parts. I'm sick of seeing Hondas, Hondas, Hondas. It's time for some Geos to kick some butt. It would be a great great help if you could provide any info on your turbo or any other performance parts, thanx.

I have a '96 GEO, bought new. 62,000 miles later I have had no problems with it! It is a 4 cylinder and I too have been looking for performance parts (hey turbo guy!), anybody reading this!!! Help.

I have added platinum plus 4 sparks and a 2" exhaust from cat back with a GEO PRIZM dual outlet exhaust (requires a little creative work from a pro-exhaust shop), and added a K&N air filter. She moves along real well now with a nice "tone" out the back. Am about to put a "Jacobs Ice Pack" ignition system in it.

I also have mags/tinted windows/headlight covers and custom made turn signal covers. The car is definitely looking good. Continuing mods... can add pix and email address if anyone wants to talk ideas... glad to see there are "others" out there!!

Hehe a turbo-geo! I have been waiting all too long to hear that... I have a 94 prizm with just about everything under the hood custom, but have been unable to find turbo/superchargers or any kind for that engine (1.6) so maybe knowing where you got a turbo for your metro would help out? Or did you do it completely custom?

Thanx!

Hi! I'm very excited about the idea of performance parts for Metros. I own a 1990 Metro with a bone stock 3 cylinder engine. Is there ANYTHING at all I can do to get some more

horses out of my engine. I have heard from some people that turbos are available for my generation Metro, but I haven't seen it yet. Is it truth or myth?

I'm kind of tight on time/money. I just want to know if there are any "secrets" or small additions to get some more performance from my engine.

As to having any problems with my Metro, God no! It starts up EVERY single day without a question. It has no rust what so ever. But being a 12-13 year old car, it does have it's quirks. The driver side window is starting to fight back when it is being rolled up. And the driver side door itself is out of alignment. It is sometimes hard to open it. But other than that, I'm very satisfied with my Metro. It's a very great car!

Hi all, Just picked up a 94 metro 4 door with the monster 1.0 eng. Looking for any mods to get just a little more out of it. It runs great now with 100K + on it! Thanks.

I have had in 10 years about 10 different makes in cars ALL made in America, but in 96 some one told me to try a Japanese car and all I could afford was a Geo Metro 96 with just 28K miles, to be honest I never had a better car than this, in spite of been compact inside and with lack of room I can tell in 6 years running it to high speed in the roads between 80 and 90 miles an hour, I have never repaired that engine yet, only replaced the timing belt at 70K miles and once the CV joints, period! it has now 110K miles and I have been hesitating if selling it or not to buy a newer car, but its been so good for me that perhaps I will keep it until it break down if it happens, I will recommend it to any one as a very good reliable small car.

I am in the process of putting a Geo automatic engine into a club car golf cart. Anyone that might have any information on high performance, or aftermarkets parts, or changing a fuel injuction back to a carboreator please e-mail.

Well...i have a 93 GEO metro and I kind of want to put a turbo kit on it. I wasn't really sure if they actually have one out there, so if you know of one can you e-mail me at r7934282@adelphia.net.

My car maybe slow, but I love it! I want to actually see a metro turbo charged.

Thanks Ryan.
