new automatic gearbox at 122,000miles.
Nice big car with good panoramic view smooth ride lot of space for family of 5 and converts to nice van when needed. 2.0 8v engine is a bit slow and heavy on the juice especially when we went to wales up the valleys, I think a metro over took me a one point. and only got 300miles to the tank.
Shocks changed at 155000 miles with a car that indicates only 122000 miles...bravo. Anyway, what you note is usual wear and tear at this mileage. Next time buy a persian flying carpet.
Automatic trasmission is always more fragile. You bought a 115000 miles old vehicle, was the trasmission serviced periodically and correctly? Shocks in a usual vehicules have to be changed every 40-70 thousand miles so its completely normal you had to change them (155000 miles is probabaly a mistake, you mean 115000 miles?). The only problem you had is the door seals...that's not much. An the ash tray is working correctly???
