"A great little, reliable pocket rocket"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

This is the first car I have ever owned and it is brilliant. When I learned to drive I used a Vauxhall Corsa and it was rubbish in comparison. This car is fast for a 1.0, comfortable and very economical. My dad has a Laguna 2.0 and a Golf 1.8 and he was very impressed with the performance. The car I have is a 3 door and everyone who gets in it mentions on how much space that there is. I bought this car from an old lady and it was immaculate. I am only 18 years and I disagree with the "feminine" look that the press mention. You really have to drive this car to realise how good it is. My mate owns a 51reg Fuesta and even he has mentioned how good the car is and how the Turquoise colour sparkles. I will keep you updated and this car continues performing as it does then I will definitely move up to a 5 door or a 1.3s (insurance purposes)

At the moment the only problem I have had is the glass in my door fell. This was easily fixed by popping it back into the bracket. Personally, I think that this car is incredible. It is economical and very reliable. Although I am 18 years old, I don't think people realise that these cars fulfil the needs of the younger generation. In fact I quite like the fact that older people drive these cars, as it gives these cars more appeal. (there are no scallys driving them). The only thing which I don't like about the car is the way the car responds to potholes, also speed bumps. By dad said the small suspension was the cause. I am not that concerned though because it is only small car and you can only really avoid the bumps in some luxorious car, which it isn't. I also wish that these cars would contain a tachometer (Or rev counter to us common people) but I know when to change gear by the sound of the engine. 5,000 miles and no problem can't wait to upgrade to a 5 door or 1.3. P. s I will keep you informed.

Just to let you know that it has just failed on its MOT with 2 CV boots needing replacement and CO emissions too high. It cost me £180 and whilst driving today I have noticed a knocking noise when the car has a complete right lock. Also, I had to replace the battery in January and that's about it. Still happy with the car, but could anyone tell me what the knocking noise is, cheers. I will keep updating this review.

Knocking noise on full lock is most commonly the CV joint. You say you had to have the CV boot replaced, this would have lead to the loss of the grease that lubricates the joint and in turn the wearing of the joint itself.

These are fantastic cars to drive; pokey and precise.

Yes, they could do with a rev counter.

Just by putting some rims on these turns them into go-carts.

The paint really does shine after some wax/polish.

They suffer from rust at the back arches, but other than that they're bullet proof.

The engine has timing chains. I am sure the 1.3 would be great as long as it has a rev counter :) then you can really drive the car to the max.

Original reviewer - After a year without my Micra, I have now decided to buy a Micra. I am going to either buy a 98' Reg or possibly the same Micra that was my first car (Micra 95' Mauritius)

I will keep an update of what car I buy and how well it goes. I have 100% faith in these cars and recommend them for drivers of all ages.
