"I would buy it over and over and over again!!!, if I could"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Driver side window got slow last winter, 2004, fixed with a little track cleaning, email me I will tell you how (barefoottravel@yahoo.com)

New clutch at 160,000 thousand miles.

New break master cylinder at 165,000.

New clutch master cylinder at 167,000.

Head liner went too hell, but what SAAB's does not do that.

Problem with a stupid ground wire on a rainy day, drove home in a florida down pour with no tail lights at all (no break or turn at all) fixed in two minits.

Oh and exsaust rotted off, the car was from New Jersey from new so not really supprised there.

Two sets of tires, mosty because I got used high profromance ones the first time and good ones the next time, still used, but take off from a trade in car, worked grrrreeatttt.

Sunroof leaked easy fix see above email address for an easy fix! coat hanger I will tell you the rest.

Would I by my car back or any other classic saab, YOU BETTER KNOW IT!!!

General comments?

Bought the 1986 SAAB 900 Turbo for 300USD with the cylinderhead in the passenger seat..HAHA...my roommate and I put it togeather and let me tell you after driveing (I have had good hondas, but this one was a lemon) a honda for two years I was happy to get back in a saab even if it was an older car. The shop I bought it from told the former owners the wrong thing so I got it cheap, had to put two weeks worth of work into it, guess what it ran like a champ till I sold it right before christmas of 2005, Oh and the AC, no matter what you have heard worked and was colder then any other car I have ever owned includeing some mercedes and caddilacs, this ways my 5th saab and I will by more of the pre GM ones.. got my eyes on a 1990 9000S as I wright this, but still have my 85 turbo sedan and this one I won't ever sell, should not have sold the last one, but we all make stupid moves!

I used to own a Saab Turbo 83... very fond of it until I got into an accident in it. I must admit, they were extremely fun to drive, and for a small block the turbo did really well. I would beat stangs no problem. You just had to know what you were doing with the turbo. I wish I still had that car, so much funner than any of the crap they sell these days and pass for sports sedans. I will eventually scout out a classic and restore one for fun... Saab forever!!!!
