Nothing has gone wrong with my truck, at all.
My truck is powerful, fun to drive and has given me no problems.
My only real gripe is the gas mileage. I get roughly 13MPG in-town. I know, I know, you're probably saying "It's a V-8, what do you expect?" and I agree. I'm just sick of dumping $200 a month in gas for trips around town, when I'm hauling something in the bed less than 1% of the time.
Time to get a compact car.
Lol, my jetta goes 2 weeks on 1 tank of filled with $26 worth of gas.
But when you need the v8, you need a v8 I guess.
Why people who don't haul large loads or pull a trailer buy a gas-guzzling V-8 is beyond me. My 2001 4-cylinder Dakota got 22mpg average and had plenty of power to haul my camping gear and merge onto freeways easily. I had a V-8 Mustang at the same time as the Dakota, and the Dakota was just as much fun to drive. I was REALLY teed off at Dodge for dropping the fuel efficient 4 and the regular cab. I bought a Ranger this time around for that reason.
You must have one crappy mustang if it has the same fun factor as a dodge dakota.
