At 4000 miles clunking between gears and rumble at 1800 rpm.. over a month in shop first year.. not fixed.. then new transmission.. at 7000 miles!.. worked for a few months... then same clunking and chatter... Audi asked me what I wanted.. (a refund!).. and never responded.. i am captive!
The service from the mechanics to audi customer care has been way below sub par... so much less than I would expect from a proud company attempting to provide a luxury experience.. very disappointed..
Having owned several BMWs and a Mercedes, I discovered that just because a car is a prestige make does not mean you will be treated any better. It really depends on the individual dealer, and that is sad.
I currently have a Subaru and my dealer is the best I've ever had. Fair prices for services (what a shock), car is washed every time, and they don't lie to me.
That said, there are reviews here on Subarus that say the dealers are the worst.
I guess the only car available in America that has a good dealership set up is Lexus.
Is this a CVT transmission?
