Constantly needs tire alignments.
Serpentine belts squeals even after belt and pully replacement.
Clunking noise from front end.
Vehicle drifts backwards in drive on slight upgrades, really bad on a hill.
Power window stopped working on drivers side.
Engine lights come on a lot.
Comfortable for family usage.
Too many little problems meaning to much time and money spent on maintaining the car.
Some big problems which leaves me with no assurances in my vehicle functioning when I need it the most.
We also have a 2002 Grand Caravan with an alignment problem. It was pulling to the right so I had the dealer do an alignment. It still pulled to the right so I took it back and they argued that it was good. Finally, I took it to a Goodyear shop and it has been fine since then, now 50,000 miles later. We also had the front end clunk problem. When I took it to an independent shop they could not find the problem so they “offered” to replace about everything in the suspension for $800. I found out that the sway bar bushings are a common problem for this vehicle and told them to just replace those. It was about $150 and solved the problem. Your vehicle “drifting backwards” complaint sounds like a normal condition to me. Overall, we have been very happy with our Grand Caravan. Good Luck.
