"Granny wagon, but can look awesome and are suprisingly quick... I love nissan"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Needed new rear struts and anti-roll bar bushes when I bought it.

Drivers seat had slight wear when I got it.

And the usual japanese rusty wheel arches.

General comments?

This car is very underrated as from the factory it comes with steel wheels and looks a bit like a granny wagon (although it has lovely gti bodykit) a set of 17" alloys with a 60mm drop sorted that out, it looked awesome then!

The bulletproof GA16DE engine in these cars are very good. economy is good with an average of 38-40 mpg.

The performance of the SR is suprisingly quick with a 7250rpm limit and only have 103bhp standard my quickest 0-60 sprint was 7.8 seconds and top speed 125mph which is pretty much the equivalent to a citroen paxo VTS which have 120bhp!!

speeds at rev limit:-

1st 39mph

2nd 64mph

3rd 99mph

4th 120mph (6800rpm)

5th 125mph (unknown revs)

Interior is a bit boring although the seats are very comfortable, but I brightened mine up by spraying some of the panels.

1day I will have the daddy sunny... the GTI-R, how good does "ha ha you got smoked by a sunny" sound.

Sunny's rule!!

I'm sorry, but there is no way a 103 bhp car can hit 7.8 seconds.

I have a sunny and it will be at 60 mph in second gear, very quick for what they are. I raced an sport 1.6 civic and kept up with it until 60 mph. Very fast in 1st and 2nd gear. That's tried and tested!!!
