Driver window goes off the track.
Consumes a lot of gas.
Too large to be parked anywhere.
Seats are worn from cigarettes burns.
The water thing for the front windshield makes a lot of noise before the throw water on the glass.
The rear glass of the car leaks when it rains.
The front seats are bent to the back because of the pressure of people sitting in the middle in front.
This is my first car, I know that I am entitled to talking about it yet since I've only had it for a month till now, but I can say this, I could have bought any car I wanted, I had money, but I chose this one because of everything I hear about it from old people, saying that this is what you call a car, and this car had its days, and that all the new plastic cars must go to the trash, and that it has the best performance, and a lot more things that I can't remember now.
I am writing this review just to defend it of all the attacks it's getting from everyone, the new generation, I'm 20 years old and I would never exchange my car for any new car of 2006.
Hey I'm 22 and have an '87 landau coupe and I feel the same way. It's a great car. I still need to get the A/C working in mine.
I think a lot of us agree, and a lot of people feel the same, but didn't see the posting yet. about the air conditioning, it rocks, once you get back on the track, you will freeze your ass in the summer, and sweat your skin out in the winter. good luck with that man, and don't care what anyone says, the most important thing is that we're happy and comfortable.
You guys are right!! I bought my first Caprice wagon in 95, I was 24 it was a gold 79 with 200k on it that was the best $200 bucks I ever spent!! It would probably still be going if the flywheel didn't lose so many teeth. I just bought another one, (I'm now 36) it's an 85 8-passenger wagon with 92k on it, my wife and I drive it on long family trips you can fit a lot of baby gear in these bad girls! Ironically it the twin of my 79!! They just don't make 'em like that any more!!
